Alexx Shaw is a freelance curator and critic living in Los Angeles. She has curated both domestically and abroad. She currently writes for White Hot Magazine of Contemporary Art, Flavorpill, Associated Content, and ArtScene. She has been featured in Valley Scene Magazine, Abitare, and has edited two newsletters for the Institute for Doctoral Studies in the Visual Arts (IDSVA). She has her MA in curatorial studies from the University of Manchester, and her BFA in Photography with a concentration in Art History from Otis College of Art and Design. She completed two years at IDSVA in Philosophy, Aesthetics, and Art Theory.
