Award-winning figurative painter based in London and exhibiting internationally, Valery Koroshilov has artistic practice that spans across a wide variety of media and genres, which include Human Figure, Portrait, Homage to Old Masters, Still Life, and Decorative Compositions. Although recent Studio work is mostly commissioned by private and corporate clients, the artist is also involved in public art projects. His other activities include associate lecturing, research, creative production, workshops and master classes. In the last 15 years Valery Koroshilov participated in more than 100 exhibitions worldwide.
Valery Koroshilov has achieved recognition and success as an artist in 1992 when a collection of his architecturally inspired graphic works received an ILC Award in New York. In 2000 the first paintings by the artist had been sold at the Auctions-on-line on the Sothebys.com and included into the BritArt Directory 2001. Valery’s oil “Masquerade”, chosen among thousands of images to represent the Annual Chelsea Art Fair 2004, had been widely featured in the British press, including The Times, The World of Interiors, The London Guide, The Sunday Times and others.
His paintings chosen by Britart.com for the prestigious Classic FM Festival aux Quat’Saisons Oxford, accompanied the performances of some of the most creative classical musicians of our time: Emma Johnson and Julian Lloyd Webber.
In 2005 a British Fine Art Publisher has produced a Portfolio of Limited Edition Signed Prints featuring 12 images based on original paintings by the artist.
Recently Valery Koroshilov has completed a major project for the P&O Company, where the designers of the new UK’s biggest luxury cruise ship Ventura commissioned him to create more than thirty large paintings and murals. Dame Helen Mirren officially opened it in April 2008.

Mon, 09/11/2009 - 10:50 — Omar Zingaro BhatiaIt's funny Valery, I came across you on artreview and now I find you here. It seems that you spend as much time on these artist networking sites as I do. I enjoyed looking at your website and will look out for your artwork next time I'm in London. I will be at London Art Fair showing a little work at the Catlin Art Prize stand, will you be in attendance there (L.A.F) at all?
Regards,
Omar Z M Bhatia
