The experience of being in a place, a landscape; a forest; a museum; this is my initial inspiration. I am interested in how time shapes a place through geology and human intervention. How this shaping reflects the changes and evolution of a place, of our histories and activities. My work evolves through layers, through a process of accumulation and erasure, leaving traces of its making. Layers, like lines on a page tell a story of time and memory; of erasure, renewal and transformation.
