I am an artist/maker.
I make art in order to tell stories, to comment on social, political, environmental and philosophical issues.
The beauty and cruelty of world dynamics is my main inspiration. Those dynamics are represented in the history, literature and visual imagery of world cultures. I assembled my own imagery from research,observation and drawing. The morphology of nature merges with that of human constructions in my work. sometimes they contrast, sometimes they fuse
My goal is to create objects and situations which are aesthetically desirable, unique, and thought provoking.
I was born in A Corunha, Galicia.
Galicia it is know as a green country of a thousand rivers. There is a strong animistic tradition which permeates all aspects of culture.
I was brought up in as Marinhas a combination of touristic destination by the sea, busy ports and decaying industrial area. Since very little I have been aware of the degradation of my environment, (rivers, sea, soil, air, forests) caused by humankind in many different ways.
My upbringing is very influential on how I perceive and understand the world surrounding her.
