LRM Performance is an idea and production of composer David Aladro-Vico and plastic artist Berta Delgado.
"LRM" stands for Locus, Rodo, Momentum, – place, grazing, moment– ( or lugar, roce, momento, in spanish) which represents and interest in observing and reflecting upon the correlation of time and space and the transformation of matter, as a general basis for our works and thoughts.
More concisely applied, LRM came out of the need for breaking conceptual, physical and social borders between artistic disciplines (Contemporary music, Plastic and Scenic Arts) taken also as temporal, spatial or material and in the view of a new promising result from all them working conjointly.
LRM respects every discipline by its own value and they are never supplementary to any other. LRM is seeking hybridation to produce new artistic set outs.
LRM is taking elements from contemporary Arts (such as video Art, instalation, performance, screening or paint), contemporary music (such as extended composing techniques and electroacoustics) and from contemporary dance like Graham, contact or physical theatre.
Its non narrative, non didactic, non entertaining intention situates it in the art field.
LRM Performance's work is intended indifferently for Theatres, Art Centers and Auditoriums with the purpose of presenting real interdisciplinary creation to each audience.
