Region:
Southern England Ella Clocksin investigates visual and tactile perception using drawing, mark-making, texture, light and shadow, photography and video. Her research focuses on the less readily articulated aspects of experience, patterned subliminally within the body: paradoxical experiences of presence/absence, closeness/distance, and bodily knowing before the conscious mind formulates words. Other interests include site-responsive work, and connecting psychoanalytic theory with literary and mythological archetypes.
Ella is an emerging British artist, based in the south of England. She is completing an MA degree in Fine Art at Winchester School of Art in September 2010.
