David Dale Gallery and Studios is a non-profit artist led organisation, based in the east end of Glasgow. Located on Brook Street, Bridgeton, David Dale Gallery and Studios is situated in a building still bearing the “David Dale Building” name that once constituted part of David Dale College, established in 1949, and named after the 18th century philanthropist David Dale.

David Dale Gallery and Studios provides a space for contemporary visual artists to develop their practice within a supportive and communicative environment.

David Dale Gallery and Studios is committed to creating opportunities for emerging visual artists through an innovative and engaging exhibition, residency and events programme.

Our studio spaces aim to provide a setting where artists can learn from and support one-another through peer discussion and critique, whilst visiting artists are able to become a part of this inspiring community.

The overall ethos of David Dale Gallery and Studios is to sustain a thriving environment of creativity, which aids the development of emerging artists and promotes pioneering contemporary visual art across Scotland and beyond.

David Dale Gallery and Studios is run by a dedicated team of five voluntary artists, which work together to ensure the continuous delivery of all aspects of the project, and to bring contemporary visual art into the heart of the east end of Glasgow.
