Arteles Center offers a fresh artist in residency programme gathering together artists in mid or advanced career stages from all countries and disciplines (installation art, writing, music, painting, sculpture, design, media-art and new technologies, dance etc.) for a concentrated period of two to six months. Residency is located in Haukijaervi near Tampere, the most populous inland city in any of the Nordic countries with over 340,000 people in the metropolitan area. Residency is located about 40km from the Tampere-Pirkkala airport where flies several important companies including Ryanair from London and Milano.
