Hello! I’m Amy. I am a photographer and artist currently based in the North-West of England and graduating from the University of Central Lancashire. The main theme I explore in my work is the shifting nature of identity. In particular I aim to investigate the way in which we attempt to capture and control identity whether the identity is our own or that of another person. I like to work using both my own photographs and found images and to present the work in a way that not only challenges our perception of human identity but questions the superficial ideas surrounding the identity of the photographic object. This is reflected in the way I manipulate my photographs.
