Painting is my way to feel and express the universe in which I live.
Emotions and feelings are attached to a flow of ideas and free expressions.
I am not interested in styles or beaten tracks.
When I paint I am interested in expressing emotions, feelings and ideas using
lines, shapes, rhythmic vibrations of color and textures.
I like the natural quality of the charcoal and usually start my work
by scribbling and sketching with this material.
Oil colors are my favorite but I also use water-colors and other pigments
frequently.

Life can be likened to a movie shown only once to a captive audience of one, a darkened auditorium in which the level of illumination is a decision for the solitary occupant. To see the light we must first acknowledge that we are in the dark.

I am a reluctant human being and society is my confinement, a prison in which the inmates have been convinced that really they are free. My gaolers are troubled by their own shallows, the fears they have of others are the fears they have about themselves cunningly repackaged to increase their legal appeal.

Working in close collaboration with affiliates in major art markets, art clvb’s mandate is to help established and emerging contemporary artists from the Middle East increase their exposure and recognition among the key players and markets in the modern art scene.

my primary interest lies in the processes of painting; my love for the materials, their techniques and the resulting surfaces. I find inspiration in the colour, texture and malleability of paint using a range of tools from syringes to piping bags to exploit the behaviour of paint and explore the relationships it create. the works incorporate my interest in the seductive nature of surface.

It is important for me to use my work as a means of exploring and potentially understanding human behaviour as manifested through images it constructs of itself. Typically, my practice involves a number of strategies such as exploration of popular mass media, philosophical texts, and speculative fiction, which I build into a ‘cosmology’ using imagined myth, symbol and fable. My practice both reflects and is placed within these imagined cosmologies.
