Life can be likened to a movie shown only once to a captive audience of one, a darkened auditorium in which the level of illumination is a decision for the solitary occupant. To see the light we must first acknowledge that we are in the dark.

I am a reluctant human being and society is my confinement, a prison in which the inmates have been convinced that really they are free. My gaolers are troubled by their own shallows, the fears they have of others are the fears they have about themselves cunningly repackaged to increase their legal appeal.

Becky's work, in the broadest sense, looks at ethics and responsibility on both a personal and a global level, drawing inspiration from current and controversial issues.

Jason’s work generally examines a Postmodern society pandering to the controlling influence of an overly authoritarian state, fueled by the greed of commerce. Focusing on the exploration of individual trudges through 21st century life. Taking their place in a society contentedly restraining itself to the well trodden path laid before it.

Beate Gördes, was born 1961 in Herten, Germany. She studied fine art/painting, at the FH Cologne from 1987-1992. She is living and working as a freelance artist in Cologne. Her artistic work is multi-layered with unbordered media and technologies. Video and sound supplements her artistic work since 2006. She is represented in numerous exhibitions and participations in Germany and abroad.

Tereza is a young photographer based in London / Prague. She is working with a large variety of tools starting with pin hole camera to large formats and she is interested in actual borders of reality, imagination and photography and likes to work with its boundaries and transforms it.

Her newest aim is to work with the topic of artificial landscapes and also she would like to work on it on international level.

Her inspiration range from the pop culture over baroque to David Lynch movies.

Being a traveller, one realizes that one never really belongs. Your livelihood – work, accommodation, country - is but only temporary.
Although exploring a new country and new cultures are truly exciting, interesting and inspirational, one will never be part of that culture.
Of all my travels, I felt most out of place and not part of a community in China – the experience of sudden illiteracy (not being able to read, write or understand the language) and loneliness was one of the biggest challenges to face.
