The photograph is in the hands of good photographers, the power to transform the real, but without changing it in its essence, so that an accurate transcript of an object or a place you can get an abstract by simply changing the scale or point of view.Likewise, what is infinitely small in our eyes is confused with the endless, as the images of the human body produced with the aid of electron microscopes resemble astrophotography done with space telescopes.
In the series of abstract images that have developed over the last decade exploring the Magno Mesquita wisely this peculiarity of photography to change the perception of scale in the absence of a recognizable parameter capable of evaluating the mental dimension of the object focused. Can you just shuffle the tracks and extract beauty from the great works of architecture - broken down into its parts more expressive, like pieces of a puzzle viewed separately from the set - as well as everyday objects such as bottles of perfume, which now acquire contours dream when observed extremely closely with the aid of macrophotography.
