You are probably already familiar with the artselector contemporary art collective - a collection of the most exciting contemporary art available anywhere on the web - the new artselector brings the addition of an extensive contemporary art networking site.

You can now use artselector to promote an exhibition or event, start a group (make it private or public), post a news story, an art deadline opportunity, start a book (a collaborative writing project - wikipedia style). Each registered user receives their own art profile page as well as a blog. Once you are registered you can select the type of content you wish to create from the 'create content' menu up on the right of this page. Finally we are only just out of beta mode so although everything is working you might find a couple of things a little rough around the edges and you will notice that most of the current posts are just tests.
