I’ve long been fascinated by the aesthetic of written language; studying calligraphy & graphology at an early age. These printed text pieces could be read as poetic statements operating on a visual level, extending lingual meaning. Experiments in light-projected image explore both textual & kinetic symbolism. Influence seems drawn from a diversity of craftspeople & artists including Zadok Ben David, Jenny Holzer & Felix Gonzalez-Torres.
