The sheds are from my Allotment Series which was part of my Degree Show. The shed is old and comprises of bits and pieces from other places, and is held together by wire.
Currently studying for a Masters in Fine Art, I am concentrating on the Scottish landscape. My aim is for the viewer to feel that they are in the place portrayed, and can imagine the solitude and peace of the place.

Having started on the course I am trying to evaluate my art:
The sheds are a sort of self portrait, but I want to take this further.
The landscape of the north of Scotland is bleak and bare. It has the effect of making one feel small and isolated. I would like to get this feeling of isolation into my work.
