I'm new to artselector. I'm based in Salford, Lancs, and thought I'd make this my first venture on this site. I'm struggling a little bit though, some things are a bit confusing on here, any handy hints?

Hello, it is nice to have a fellow Northerner around these parts :D I'm based in Cumbria though I travel through to Preston/Manchester quite a bit.
I struggled initially to get set up and going on here. I think I have just about got to grips with it - so if you have any specific questions don't be afraid to ask! In terms of hints I would definitely recommend being active as possible through the blogs, reviews and message boards. There are some very interesting and friendly people so it is worth getting involved.

new on here to, i'm a manchester based fine art photographer.
this site's all a bit spaghetti junction to me at the minute... sure i'll get to grips with it soon enough though!

Glinka: Hello! Again - if you need a hand working anything out just give me a shout. Your work is pretty amazing - the colours are lovely, really emotive. If you don't mind me asking do you use polaroids and outdated film for that effect?

I used a polaroid SX-70 camera and Artistic Z film. It's not out of date film but it does produce some really beautiful clours!
