Sean Branagan continues to stretch the concept of what paintings are, and how we perceive them, both as ‘captured moments’ and ‘objects’. Materials such as Perspex and paint are still central, but to present moving image, the projector is replaced by the use of embedded LCD screens as part of, and ‘inside’, the paintings.
