DENVER, CO: Sellars Project Space is pleased to announce an exhibition of new works by Colorado artist Heidi Jung. This exhibition opens free to the public on Friday, August 6th, 2010 with a reception for the artist from 6 – 9 pm. Exhibition continues through August 31st, 2010.

Sellars Project Space is located at 4383 Tennyson Street 1D, Denver, CO 80212 in the heart of the historic Highlands-Berkeley neighborhood. Hours are Tuesdays through Saturdays from 10 – 2 pm and always by appoinment.

Jung's love of plants began at an early age and serve as both her inspiration and subject matter. Classically trained, Jung continues her contemporary interpretation of flowers, partially shrouded, sometimes depicted well past their prime but nevertheless beautifully rendered. These works speak of the fleeting essence of beauty as well as the connection between ourselves and nature. Jung's artworks reside in many collections including the Four Seasons, the Hyatt, Libeskind designed Museum Lofts, and has works in the collection of Price Bandar of Saudia Arabia and Kelsey and Camille Grammar to only name a few.
