Chianciano International Award of Photography 2010
The Chianciano International Award for Photography combines the concepts of a Museum exhibition and a workshop led by professional photographers of the highest level. The event is set in the Art Museum of Chianciano, which is a three thousand square meter structure in the center of Chianciano Terme,Tuscany. The Museum is surrounded by the beautiful Val d'Orcia and very near to Siena,Florence and Rome.
The Photographers staging the workshops have immense backrounds which range from collaborations with magazines such as Vanity Fair, Time Magazine, Forbes and Stern, to solo exhibitions in Museums, to a life long career with the New York Times.
This is a rare opportunity further ones ability by learning directly from the absolute leaders in the field. A workshop like this one is potentially a once in a lifetime experience.

Last September, the Art Museum organized the Biennale of Chianciano 2009. The exhibition was a notable success and hosted works by 160 artists, and had over 10,000 visitors. The artists who participated in the Biennale came from all over the world, from as far off as the Philippines, Korea, the US, and Australia.
