Artists Talk: Svein Flygari Johansen’s Am I making up what really happened?

As part of January SLAM LAST Fridays:
evening viewing 6-9pm with Bankside Afterparty ‘til late

Investigating themes of indigenous culture, capitalist meltdown, patriotism and global politics, influential Norwegian artist Svein Flygari Johansen connects imagery from the organic world with high technology: Materials range from water, sticks and stones, Ammonium Sulphate and bacteria to sophisticated computer programming.

The artist’s talk unpacks the technology behind the works in Am I making up what really happened?

Code for all Flygari's digital works is written by Jonny Bradley with whom he has collaborated since 2001. Exhibition robotics by David Buckley.

This event forms part of the South London Art Map LAST Fridays (http://www.southlondonartmap.com/). Beaconsfield hosts the Bankside Afterparty with bar and music until late.
