Call to Artists to Share Enormous Live-Work Studios
As it stands at the moment there's an enormous open double height area of 12,000 sq ft with a two story structure comprising a kitchen, a couple of washrooms and five rooms of various dimensions. Another interior structure will be built adjacent to this and about twice the size. This building will house brand spanking new kitchens / shower rooms and good sized rooms. A humungous amount of the floorspace will be untouched by this development.
There will be a sizeable monthly coffer (£12,000 over 6 months to begin with) to develop this open area further and/or buy communal tools, equipment, household items etc.. How to spend and how to develop will need input from resident artists at monthly meetings.
Transport's a breeze to get anywhere - nearest tube Manor House - zone 2 Piccadilly Line. The immediate area is already teeming with artists, performers, musicians etc.
