Art as a style of life

Hello! My name is Olga. I am an artist.
I was born in a family of artists in 1970. My first drawing is dated 1972. It’s quite a bold beginning of creative activity.
I have not had a painful quest of my future profession. Although I have studied for several years music school, the urge to art prevailed. I graduated from art school in 1984 and Art College in 1988.
In 1986 I met with the artist Valentin Massov, which became my teacher in the art. Who saw the movie “Lermontov” (directed by N. Burlajev), could see him as a “Wanderer”. I do not afraid to say:” Valentin Massow is the genius of the XX century”.
“You do what nobody has done yet everything that is left by the art on the Earth..,” the artist Oleg Tselkov said about V. Massov in 1977.
If I had not this meeting, I would not the serious artist. Let me explain why …
Our art school is based only on realistic principles. For the initial formation is very good. But creativity is something else. Creativity is the way to God.
I wanted to enter the Art University in 1988. But fortunately this did not happen… “Do not rush to enter in the University. You have a wonderful school, you were the best in the group. Go to the village and you can learn in nature who you are . Then enter the university, if such a need,” Valentin Massov said.
I got a profession of beekeeper at Bednodemyanovsk school in 1990. Me and my mom bought a house in the village, and in 1990 successfully moved to a new location.
In the summer I worked at the apiary and has worked creatively in the winter.
I wrote hundreds of watercolors for 5 years in the village. I worked from morning till night. I forgot everything that was taught me in art school. It was a protogenic freedom, and I was happy.
A few years later I brought artworks to Penza and showed ones my former classmates.
“When you left town, we all laughed at you. And now we can see the results. You were right. You become an artist,” said one girl, after viewing my artworks.
Yes, there I became the artist.
