The background area develops as I imagined, It is striking me how far I have to step back in order to see the forming of the stains. I do have to go at least 4 meters away from the canvas. I’m adding color intensity and balancing the overall composition. Still not sure what will happen with the left side, I do like it empty, but not sure for the moment. I will work more on the chair; I think It could have more detailed form, perhaps even drawn. I should start to make the film.

I never spend so much time away from the canvas as by this painting……..I finally managed to leap away from the realistic painting and work fully on the abstract part, which starts to spread allover the canvas, even into the body parts. I have the feeling that I do keep good balance between the realistic and abstract parts and they start to influence each other while keeping the narrative integrity. I mean I do give enough information to the eye to initiate the mental personal input of the viewer. Though I have to say it truly take an effort to give up what you know and recognize and let you mind wander in the unknown. But once you do the real seems to be so……pointless.
