White.

White is the set of all colors, the sum of whole spectrum of visible. Everything man can see derives from white. Seeping a white light beam trough a glass prism, basically obtain seven variations of colors, from red to violet. Same variations that cross the sky after a storm.

Colors that man can discern derives from lack of absorbing by the objects of a part of the spectrum.

Black.

Black is the absence. The void. If an object can absorb all the spectrum, human eyes can't perceive remaining radiations and, as consequence, they see black.

Wood's black light is not black. Is only Wood's. It lays between violet and UV. A black light beam doesn't exist.

Talking about light. Colors are the opposite.

This forces man to solitude and to impossibility of relations, besides the constant exercise of his knowing faculties. Access to a private reality could be terribly intriguing.

But man is lazy.

Human being is also famous for predilection to fixed habits, and easily impressionable. Consequently, for fear or for interest, individuals shows a deep tendency to disown their conditions and revert to a unit absolute, homologating and secure because fictitious.

Therefore absolute, after being fractionated to make place for individual realities, is demolished and artificially recreated to serve aims that are paradoxically too individual to correlate to the absolute itself.
