Yes, studying art is essential for an artist to fully develop their practice.
It's good to have, but not essential.
No - It's a waste of time and money.

Should artselector art profile pages only be published if written in English?

Yes - because English is the standard International language for the web.
No - because it should be up to the artist / gallery to use their preferred language.
I never read the profile texts anyway, I just look at the art work.
