I make hand made negatives called Cliché-Verre Plates and use light as paint to create painterly colour images of a high intensity that are reproduced on to C Type or other types of light sensitive Photographic paper.
This process based method of making artwork begins with the creation of handmade large format negatives in the studio; in the darkroom various layers of negatives are placed together and with alterations to the filter in the enlarger, the print is made.
This group is for discussion, promotion and networking of artists who use similar processes to make artwork.
A group for artists who make hand made negatives called Cliché-Verre.
The aim of this group is to connect artists and enthusiasts who use or appreciate the medium of sound within an artistic framework, in order to exchange ideas, trigger discussions and collaborations.
