When artists Roz Cran and Saron Haward were forced to leave the studio building they shared in Hastings, they converted a potentially debilitating inconvenience into an opportunity for artistic redefinition. What emerged was RUNWAY: artists without studios, a network for studio-less artists along the South East coast, which aims to create a structure for working in erratic patterns, unexpected combinations, and unusual spaces.
